The introduction of digital technologies has tremendously revolutionized many disciplines of dentistry. These technologies aim to simplify various clinical and laboratory steps. The utilization of a complete digital workflow for full-arch implant rehabilitation has been challenging.
Recently, much progress has occurred in digital technologies to address various disadvantages, aiming at a progressive substitution of conventional and analog techniques. In particular, implant-supported prosthesis can nowadays follow an entire digital flow, from surgical planning to prosthesis fabrication.
This lecture overviews the digital protocol in implant prosthetics and different approaches utilized to overcome various challenges.
