Prof. Ashraf Refai is a Professor of Endodontics and former head of department at the faculty of dental medicine Al-Azhar University in Cairo. He graduated from Cairo University in 1994 and started working at Al-Azhar University in 1997 to date, during that time he obtained his Masters and Doctoral degrees. In 2017 he became the head of department. Dr. Refai has published multiple articles in various peer reviewed publications and is editor to many of them. He has also been a visiting professor at MIU (Misr International University) and FUE (Future University in Egypt). Dr. Refai has been an exclusive microdentist since 2007 and lectures nationally and internationally extensively on various endodontic topics such as endodontic surgery & vital pulp therapy.
