Molar incisor hypominerlization is a common developmental, qualitative enamel defect caused by reduced mineralization and inorganic enamel content that results in enamel discoloration and fracture of the affected teeth. The high prevalence and impact of MIH on oral health have become a major concern in recent years. This condition can have a significant impact on oral health-related quality of life, causing severe pain, functional difficulties, and esthetic concern.
