Rania ElBackly - Egypt

Rania ElBackly, graduated from the faculty of dentistry in 2000 at the top of her class with honor degrees. Since 1999, she has been actively involved in research as part of the tissue engineering laboratories team at the faculty. She obtained her Master’s degree in conservative dentistry in 2006 with her thesis focusing on regeneration of the dentin/pulp complex. In 2009, she was awarded a scholarship from the Universita’ degli studi di Genova, Italy and received her PhD in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine from the University of Genoa, in 2012 which was followed by an equivalence PhD in endodontics in 2013. She is a fellow of the Laboratory for Regenerative Medicine, University of Genoa, Italy and a Daniel Turnberg Fellowship Awardee, Academy of Medical Sciences, 2021. She is also a Visiting Researcher, Laboratorio di Bioterapie, Dipartimento di Medicina Interna e Specialità Mediche – DIMI, Universita’ Degli Studi di Genova, Italy. She presented at numerous international conferences worldwide and she has an H-index of 18 (accessed on 13.9.2024).
